Oak board - ovale
A beautiful recycled solid oak wine barrel head is hand shaped to form a stunning oval shaped chopping board or serving platter. Each wine barrel head is completely dismantled, cleaned, sanded and re-glued with additional biscuit joints to reinforce the solid structure.
The finish is a beautiful natural low lustre finish. For future care of your board simply nourish with nut oil. The underside of the barrel head is stained naturally from the red wine used at the time.

Handmade
Individually handmade, using 100% recycled oak wine barrels from the Corbières wine region of southern France. Each wine stave is unique and as a consequence all our are designs are one of a kind creations and not factory manufactured. The red colour on the wine stave comes from the natural red wine stored in the wine barrel.

Fait-Main - Recyclé
Les barriques en chêne sont récupérées, triées et recyclées. Après un temps de séchage et des heures passées en ponçant, les douelles sont transformées en objets d'art, meubles d'intérieur et d'extérieur. Bien sûr chaque douelle garde bien la belle forme incurvée! Le coté intérieur de la douelle garde sa couleur rouge due à la vinification, véritable reflet de son histoire. Suivant le tonnelier à l'origine de la fabrication de la barrique, les douelles présentent des variations de largeur, de longueur qui font de chaque création une création unique.
